Organic Large White Kidney Beans: Focus Is on New Crops

YUNNAN: Exporters in the producing area reported that 2021 crop organic large white kidney beans have been sold out. The new product is expected to go on sale at the end of October. Importers focus on new crops. In recent years, due to low output and high prices, exports have dropped sharply. It is currently impossible to predict the market situation in the new season. The decline in purchasing power in domestic and foreign markets has created difficulties for exporters. Neither domestic producers nor exporters have plans to replenish their inventories.

At present, the purchase price of organic raw grains has dropped to US$1,730-1,760/ton, 45 grains/100g. Exporters’ quotations have begun to decline, and export orders have decreased significantly compared with the same period last year. The export standard reference price is 2.230-2.260 US dollars/ton, FOB Tianjin.
