Sowing of Styrian pumpkins has been completed in April – May in Hungary. Please login or sign up now.’] according to the bigger growers. The current hectares of pumpkin seed fields are approaching 15000 ha, whereof approximately 5000 ha are GWS fields. It is said that the level of the sown fields has not been changed significantly for years, and the currently high oilseed prices do mean appeal for choosing this agricultural commodity in the future. The average yield of GWS kernels is about 1000 kg/ha.
Forecasted new crop price for Styrian GWS kernels raw material with 95% purity is 2.90-3.00 EUR/kg FCA HU.
