Export of Ukrainian corn is declining due to weak demand and increased competition among major suppliers.

Nevertheless, the price proposals for corn at the local market are still at a fairly high level. Ukrainian traders cannot compete with more attractive offers for the supply of corn from Argentina and the United States, but farmers are holding on to stocks, still hoping to sell them at a higher price. As a result, the supply of corn on the market has significantly decreased. Some market operators are spreading information that corn stocks are already out in several regions. At the same time, statistics show that corn reserves are still sufficient.

In 2020/2021, Ukraine has already exported more than 20.4 million tons of yellow corn, though it was is7.5 million tons or 27% less than the previous season. CPT prices retain on the level 280usd/t.
