Yellow peas: Ukraine has exported first shipment of winter yellow peas this season.

The representatives of HarvEast have informed that their company has done first export of yellow peas new crop this year.

Therefore, a vessel with 10 000 t winter peas went to their customer in Italy.

Yellow peas harvest has recently started in Ukraine. For the moment, the farmers have harvested over 70 000 tons of winter peas, and the forecast for this season is around 550 000 tons.

Average CPT prices remain on the same level – 230 ud/t in Odesa port. Demand is slow because of holidays in Muslim countries and low prices in the world market.

In general, in the new season already over one mln tons of grains was exported from Ukraine.
