Cumin Expected to Remain in Limited Range

In cumin today, the market remained bearish around $0,20 to $0,30 per kg in the mandis of Gujarat. In some markets of Rajasthan the market remained flat and in some the market remained muted.

Last week the market was up around $0,45 to $0,55 per kg in NCDEX and $0,25 to 0,35 in the spot market.

Last week the buying was fine everywhere.

Today, there was a decline in some markets due to the shortage in buying at high prices. This season the trend in cumin seeds is bullish. When the market witnesses some correction in prices, the customers get active at the lower prices. Experts state that in the current situation, there is no possibility of a long rise in cumin from these levels.

 At present, the market in cumin is moving only in a limited range.

For most of the traders the market trend is not clear right now, expected to remain in limited range.

The Cumin seeds grade A prices were Recorded at $3,18 per kg FOB.
