The announcement of the fresh tender for Korean Sesame and the release of levies by exporters led the market to rise by $0,51 – $0,64 per kg. The price is expected to move up further in the coming days.
Leading Sesame Brokers said that the fall in the prices in the Sesame market had pushed the price up to $2,57 per 20 kg in the last ten days. Therefore, the income of Summer Sesame will be maintained for another week, but gradually, it will start decreasing.
60 to 70 percent of the summer crop has reached the market. Now the remaining white sesame seeds are in strong hands, and there is a possibility that they will not come up for sale immediately.
The income of white sesame in Gujarat was 22 thousand times. Average quality prices in Rajkot are about $2,69 per 20 kg for the 99-1 variety.
The price of black sesame also rose by $0,39 per 20 kg. The income of black sesame in Gujarat was 4000 times. Port Delivery Black Sesame 99-1 price on Friday improved to $1,62 per kg.
