Prices for soybean oil on the Ukrainian market have been growing since the beginning of August, according to APK-Inform analysts’ data.
This price trend, according to experts, is formed under the influence of a fairly active sales of finished products and an increase in the cost of purchasing soybeans and their delivery.
“Besides, prices have been strengthened by a reduction in the supply of these finished products against the backdrop of the suspension of a number of enterprises for preventive maintenance, ” APK-Inform said.
At the same time, according to experts, the offer prices for soybean oil by August 24 are fixed within 39.500-42.500 UAH/t EXW (1.076 – 1.158 EUR/t ), which is 1.200-1.500 UAH/t (32,71 – 40,88 EUR/t ) above the level of the beginning of the month .
“We note that manufacturers continued to report logistical difficulties, in particular, a shortage of oil tankers, which somewhat hinders trading and purchasing activity,” analysts say.
