Dried Apricots: Reaction to high prices?

Spread the news!

Market players reported that this week started very calmly, unlike the last two active weeks. They added furthermore that the demands are very poor, that the raw material prices are at 90 TL/kg levels as last week, and that there are slight decreases in the export prices.

Market players stated furthermore that mild concerns started due to the weak demand and that traders and growers who have products will start selling as the bud and bloom season approaches. However, it is expected that there will not be many increases in raw material prices anymore, at least until the blooming period.

Turkey exported 49.083 mt so far, being 46.245 mt last year during the same period. Last week’s exports were 1468 mt apricots, which was 1676 mt during the same week of last year.
