The Corn Belt is a term for a region in the Midwest of the USA where corn is traditionally grown. The Corn Belt primarily comprises the states of Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota and Nebraska, which (as of 2021) are responsible for around 50 per cent of all corn grown in the USA. The Corn Belt also includes parts of the states of Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin and Kentucky.
