The structure of cargo at all seaports on the Danube:

  • grain cargo amounted to 14.1 million tons,
  • ore – 1.7 million tons,
  • oil products – 1.9 million tons,
  • oil – 2.4 million tons,
  • other cargo – 9.0 million tons.

It is worth reminding that the cost of logistics costs for delivering goods to Danube ports or by rail to Polish or Romanian ports is significantly higher than similar costs to Black Sea ports, sometimes reaching a difference of $90 per ton.

The alternative sea corridor has already been used by 250 ships that have successfully exported 9 million tons of cargo from Black Sea ports to Ukrainian ports.
