As per USDA reports, Indian sugar production was expected to 347 lakh tons in 2021-22 and 337.60 lakh tons in 2020-21. USDA also stated that global sugar production is expected 1855.37 lakh tons which were 1798.55 lakh tons, in the 2020-21 season.
