Due to the warmer weather than normal, apricot trees in low areas in Malatya have started to bud. Sudden weather changes are very dangerous for the next harvest. As of the beginning of the week, night temperatures showed minus degrees, putting the farmers in danger of frost. A possible frost will greatly affect budding trees. Although those in the higher elevations are not much affected, farmers are worried and trying to take the necessary precautions. Dried apricot raw material prices are also rising day by day. Last week, sales were around 200-210 TL or 5,70-6 € . But it is expected to rise even further after the election.
