The most appreciated products were maize with a price increase of around 50 % and rapeseed with approximately 54 %. The main reason for the rally is the increased Chinese demand for these products.

In Hungary the most popular agri plants which farmer usually choose to grow are wheat with 6-8 Mt/Ha average yield, maize with 8-11 Mt/ Ha average yield, rape seed with 3-5 Mt/Ha average yield, sunflower seed with 3-5 Mt/Ha average yield and barley with 6-8 Mt/Ha average yield.
Currently there is a calm interval and sentiment of the traders and farmers is neutral until harvest of the new crop of the barley and milling wheat, which is expected around first week of July, 4 weeks from now.
