However, major cumin-producing states like Gujarat and Rajasthan have received good monsoon rains this season, and sowing has also been saying good, as this year’s cumin market has remained very high. the wholesale price of cumin has been setting new records ever since the production of cumin declined by about a third during the current season.

On the contrary, the data released by the spices board, except for January, exports of Indian cumin in the International market have remained less compared to the proviso year.
