India Successfull With Sesame Seeds Tender

Indian sesame traders and exporters can breathe a sigh of relief after the announcement of the Koran tender today. India continues to dominate the tender by successfully rebidding on the first two parts of the tenders.

India got the chance to fulfill 900 tons out of the 3000 tons of fulfilling the bidding quantity for the first part of the tender. But, simultaneously, 3000 tons out of 6000 tons of the second part of the tender.

Yesterday, Myanmar successfully bid the third section of this three-part Korean tender. As a result, the first two parts of the tender’s bidding were cancelled and scheduled today. After India failed to succeed in the third part of the tender, it sent a wave of nervousness among the commodity traders. But things have changed after India won as the following, outbidding Pakistan, China, and Myanmar to continue its lead as the leading exporter of sesame in Korea.

For the first part of the bid, the commodity needs to arrive at the Korean port by March 31, 2022. India’s CS MRO won the bid and needs to complete the consignment of 900 tons, while Pakistan’s Agricultural Corporation Jupitar Co., Ltd. has to fulfil 300 tons.

The second part of the tender was completed by India, Pakistan, Myanmar, and China. All of them have to complete the consignments by April 29, 2022.

Yesterday Myanmar’s Geosung Trading won the third part of the bid to export 6,000 tons of sesame to Korea at $1,798.00 per ton.
