ODESA: Ukrainian informative website Kurkul.com conducted a fascinating survey among Ukrainian farmers. The only question was: When do you plan to sell your grain?
The Survey has shown the following results:
Most farmers, namely 56% of respondents, plan to keep the harvest in anticipation of a better price.
Also, 26% of respondents prefer differentiated sales.
Another 17% sell immediately from the fields.
And only 1% of respondents – with the help of forwarding sales.
According to experts, the most pragmatic and correct approach is to differentiate grain sales, i.e. to break them down into certain parts. This option reduces the risks of income loss.
