The new orders from rice factories are insufficient, and some manufacturers are temporarily suspending production due to limited logistics. In mid-April, the average operating rate of rice factories across the country was about 3.7%, down 1.3 percentage points from the same period last year. The raw grain consumption of rice mills has shrunk, the enthusiasm for replenishment is poor, and downstream demand has no effect on the market. In most production areas, 40-50% of the grain sources are at the grassroots level, and there is a certain amount of inventory in the intermediate links. In addition, the old grain will be carried over in 2020, and the market supply is sufficient. It is predicted that the price of organic millet will be difficult to rise in the short term.
