Dried apricot exports continue to rise

GAİB Dried Fruits and Products Exporters Association President Mehmet Çıkmaz stated that Türkiye’s dried fruits and products are on the tables in many parts of the world. Stating that sector exports are increasing, Çıkmaz said:

Our sector increased its exports from 1 billion 568 million 539 thousand dollars in 2022 to 1 billion 610 million 304 thousand dollars in 2023. This shows that the demand for our products is increasing. As producers, we are working to promote the quality and flavor of our products in exports. Hopefully, our exports and income will increase even more. The demand for our products makes us happy. This demand stems from the aroma and flavor of our products. We send our products mostly to Europe. Europe is our most important market.

BAKAP will now produce apricots

Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş reported that apricot saplings were planted in BAKAP and apricot production will be realized in this region effectively.

The Euro exchange rate, which cannot be stopped despite many policies implemented, saw 33.05 TL today. In apricots, whose price has remained stable since last week, type 2 apricots are priced at €6.40-6.60 and type 4 apricots are priced at €6.60-6.80.
