Sunflower, soybeans and rapeseeds prices showed growth again this week
The price of sunflower continues its upward trend. For the moment, processors are trying to provide their own capacity with raw materials for the next 3-4 months as much as possible. Stable oil prices and devaluation of hryvnia to 3% last week made it possible to significantly support the activation of sunflower trade in Ukraine.
The latest indications of sunflower buyers:
- CPT Ukraine ( factories in regions) – 340-360 USD/t
Soybean prices rose to 10 EUR per ton in all directions. The new harvest is traded at a discount of up to 20 euros per ton compared to last year harvest.
The latest indications of buyers of GMO soybeans:
- CPT Ukraine (Odesa ports) – 400-410 USD/t
- CPT Ukraine (Danube ports) – 405-415 USD/t
Rapeseeds remaining stocks are already not so big to give the traders opportunity to collect big amounts for export. There is still good demand from Bangladesh and some EU countries. But delivery to EU is still difficult because of farmers strikes at Polish border.
