The Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation has released the results for the 2024 Sesame TRQ (Tariff Rate Quota) State Trade 4th (P1) bidding process. The arrival date for the sesame seeds (Item 1207-40-0000) is scheduled for April 26, 2024.
- Arizu Walk from Burkina Faso successfully bid for 900 tons at a price of 2,068.00 USD/ton.
- Green Star Co., Ltd. from India bid for 450 tons, successfully securing a price of 2,070.00 USD/ton.
- Saladin, with origins in Nigeria, won the bid for 900 tons at 2,072.00 USD/ton.
- Hyunbly Walk, also from Nigeria, matched the bid for 900 tons at a price of 2,074.00 USD/ton.
- International Trade under the bidding number AT2693-SI-24(948) from Burkina Faso secured a deal for 900 tons at 2,074.00 USD/ton.
- Perfect from Togo made a successful bid for 900 tons, priced at 2,077.00 USD/ton.
- CS MRO from India acquired 450 tons at 2,077.00 USD/ton.
- Pineta, again from Burkina Faso, successfully bid for 450 tons at the same price of 2,077.00 USD/ton.
- Best Pick from India bid for the smallest quantity of 150 tons but at the highest price of 2,084.00 USD/ton.
Part 2: 4th (P2) Bidding Results
Following the P1 results, the 4th (P2) bidding session for 2024 Sesame TRQ State Trade also concluded with the same total bidding quantity of 6,000 tons, which was fully allocated. The arrival of the sesame seeds is anticipated to be on May 24, 2024.
- Green Star Co., Ltd. from Nigeria won a bid for 900 tons at a price of 2,068.00 USD/ton.
- Saladin, also sourcing from Nigeria, secured 900 tons at 2,070.00 USD/ton.
- Arizu Walk from Burkina Faso was successful for 900 tons, at a bid price of 2,070.00 USD/ton.
- International Trade under the bidding number AT2694-SI-24(949) from Burkina Faso secured 900 tons at 2,072.00 USD/ton.
- India Gro Co., Ltd.** from Nigeria obtained 900 tons at 2,074.00 USD/ton.
- Hyunbly Walk from Nigeria matched the previous bid for 900 tons at 2,074.00 USD/ton.
- Jaya Co., Ltd., with origins in Nigeria, successfully bid for 450 tons at 2,074.00 USD/ton.
- Yuniverse from Nigeria secured the smallest amount of 150 tons, but at a competitive price of 2,076.00 USD/ton.
