In July, 110,000 tonnes of grain and oilseeds were exported from Ukraine by road. This indicator was reported by Apkinform citing the data which the analysts of Spike Brokers posted on their Telegram channel.
As noted, rates for domestic road transport remained unchanged during the month.
“There is an increase in the number of requests for transportation by dump trucks in the direction of Eastern Germany at the beginning of September from various regions of Ukraine. This allows rates for grain trucks to strengthen in this direction, with a further tendency towards slight growth,” experts point out.
It is also reported that the start of maize trade to Italy is creating a small demand for grain truck deliveries, but does not allow rates to be set at an acceptable level for carriers.
Market rates for car transportation are:
Western Ukraine | Northern Italy | 105-115 EUR |
Western Ukraine | Eastern Germany | 110-120 EUR |
Central Ukraine | Southern Romania | 65-75 EUR |
