The farmers of Malatya, whose biggest export is dried apricots in the foreign market, are troubled. TMO didn’t announce the apricot price and did not make any purchases yet and this caused reactions. In the country where the price of diesel has tripled compared to last year, as in many products, the producer asks if the TMO will make the purchase after the villagers run out of goods.

TMO follows the apricot prices and watches the markets. If there is a decrease in the price of apricot or a downward trend in prices, TMO will switch to intervention purchases.
