Market players stated that the number of producers who have already made an appointment at TMO had reached 6,500, and the amount of products with a license has reached 50.000 tons. The number of purchasing centres has increased to 11 in this context.
The purchase price announced by TMO is a threshold price determined to prevent market prices from falling. It is aimed that the markets will be formed above this threshold price, and other market actors other than TMO need to exceed the TMO purchase prices to purchase products. For this reason, it is constantly recommended that the farmers must not sell their products below TMO purchase prices.
