Inner Mongolia: In October, China imported 334.70 tons of buckwheat from Russia, and the pick-up price at Manzhouli port refers to US$800/ton, net grain. China’s buckwheat export volume was 1199.94 tons, an increase of 629.39 tons compared with September, 109.21% month-on-month and a year-on-year increase of 23.35%.
The small volume of exports was weak. The market supply is sufficient, and traders enter the destocking stage. Market participants predict that the price of domestic buckwheat will be stable but weak in the short term. They are concerned about the import situation.
