ODESA: According to the State Customs Service, as of December 6, Ukraine exported 26.076 million tons of grain and legumes in 2021/22 MY.
This is 16.9% or 3.779 million tons more than last year.
According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy forecast, Ukraine will export 56 million tons of grain and legumes in 2021/22 MY (according to the USDA forecast of more than 60 million tons), which will be 25% higher than in the 2020/21 season.
As of December 6, compared to the corresponding period of the previous season, exports increased:
wheat – by 20.7% to 14.602 million tons (with a forecast of 24 million tons),
barley – by 34% to 4.965 million tons (with a forecast of 6 million tons),
rye – by 82.1 thousand tons to 82.9 thousand tons,
corn – remained at 6.207 million tons (with a forecast of 30 million tons).
