TIANJIN: The peak season for sunflower seeds in the domestic trade market in winter will reduce manufacturers’ inventory and sales pressure, and it is predicted that prices will remain stable in the short term according to feedback from exporters. Exports faced difficulties in booking space, sea freight remained high, and costs for importers and exporters increased significantly.
The Middle East market accounted for 63% of exports. Exporters are looking forward to an improvement in the shipping market after March. Importers from Egypt, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Iran, Turkey, and other countries reported that sea freight greatly increased import costs, and hoped that sea freight would decrease.
This week, the standard sunflower seeds are 361 grains, the number of grains is 180-190pcs/50g. The export price is 1.280-1.320 US dollars/ton, and the COUNT 190-200PCS/50G price is 1.270-1.300 US dollars/ton. Continue to monitor market changes.
