BRAZIL, July 6 news: According to data released by the Brazilian Foreign Trade Secretariat (SECEX), from January to June 2022, Brazil’s soybean exports were 53.071 million tons, a decrease of 7.76% from 57.537 million tons in the same period last year. Among them, exports to China were 35.211 million tons, 12% lower than the 39.799 million tons in the same period in 2021. In second place is Spain, which imported 2.42 million tons of Brazilian soybeans, an increase of 7% year-on-year. The Netherlands was the third largest buyer with 1.689 million tonnes, down 20% year-on-year.
