The first ship loaded with corn within the scope of the grain shipment agreement departed from Odesa Port. The dry cargo ship Razoni, which is expected to be in Istanbul tomorrow, will then go to Lebanon.
The first grain-loaded ship sailed from Ukraine. In the statement made by the Turkish Ministry of National Defense (MSB), “The ship named Razoni departed from Odessa to go to Tripoli Port in Lebanon. The ship is expected to arrive in Istanbul on August 2nd.
The ship will continue on its way to the destination port following the inspection to be held in Istanbul.
Following the first ship to make shipments within the scope of the “Safe Shipment of Grain and Foodstuffs from Ukrainian Ports Initiative” document signed between Turkey, Russian Federation, Ukraine and the United Nations on July 22, 2022, it was reported that the other ships are planned to be transferred within the framework of the determined corridors and procedures.
