According to the survey of market participants, organic bases in Jilin, Shanxi, and Shaanxi have sufficient rain and good moisture content, and new millet is sown and sprouted smoothly. Around the beginning of the month, it rains in Chifeng, Inner Mongolia and Jianping, Liaoning. Still, the rainfall is small, and the seedling situation in some mountainous fields is not good.
Currently, rainfall is still needed to improve moisture content. The organic bases in Tongliao and Fuxin have finished sowing and can emerge successfully. How the organic millet price fluctuates at the present stage is largely affected by rainfall in producing areas, the growth of new grain, and market subjects’ mentality. If there is an appropriate amount of rainfall in Mongolia and Liaoning in the short term, with the improvement of farmers’ enthusiasm for shipment, there is a risk that the grain price will fall before the end of the month. On the other hand, if the drought continues, holders will be reluctant to sell mentality, the price will decline to curb.
