DALIAN: The rainwater in the production area is normal and the temperature is suitable. The new millet is in the filling stage and the overall growth is good. Although the total output is lower than last year, the unit yield is guaranteed to a certain extent. At the beginning of September, Chifeng Tianshan new millet will start to release, and the market players are more cautious. Farmers are more reluctant to sell, and low-stock grain merchants are more motivated to ship. The contradiction between supply and demand has appeared in stages, and there may still be room for decline in the price of old grain before the end of the month.

DALIAN: The periodic inventory of grain merchants in Northeast China promotes the flow of grass-roots sources of goods to the intermediate links. According to the research of Zhuochuang Information, as of mid-August, the grass-roots grain sources in most production areas were about 20%, the intermediate links in Mongolia and Liaoning were about 15%-20%, and the total proportion of grain sources in each link was 35%-40%, still loose. The launch time of new millet in Northeast China is approaching, the farmers’ reluctance to sell is loosened, and the difficulty of buying goods at the grassroots level is reduced. Grain merchants with low inventory are more motivated to ship, and grain prices in production areas are generally weak.
