Moldova has canceled the decision of the Commission for Emergency Situations that VAT on the export and re-export of deodorized sunflower oil is made without the right to deduct. The decision to cancel was also made by the Commission for Emergency Situations. writes Sputnik.
This provision also applies to the free economic zone and the international free port of Giurgiulesti.
As a reminder, the resolution of the Commission for Emergency Situations on the non-refund of VAT on the export of sunflower oil has been in force since May 18, 2022.
Earlier, the Moldovan manufacturer of inexpensive sunflower oil Floris said that the factories in Ceadir-Lunga and Balti are on the verge of closing due to the May decision of the government. Financial Director of Trans-Oil Group Vitaliy Butnaru also called the decision of the Commission for Emergency Situations on the non-refund of VAT on oil exports illegal.
