Dalian: Chinese sunflower kernel prices increased slightly. Export markets are mainly concentrated in Europe, Southeast Asia, South Korea, the Middle East and the United States. Due to the epidemic and the overall economic environment, export markets declined. Exports to the European and the United States market decreased, but exports to Southeast Asia increased.
This week confectionary grade sunflower seeds are $1650- $1680/ton FOB Dalian or Tianjin. Bakery grade sunflower seeds are not competitive and this week’s reference price is $1550- $1580/ton, FOB Tianjin or Dalian. Stay tuned for changes in market prices.
