Kabul – Prices of dried figs will increase amid sluggish supply in the Indian market.
There is a good crop estimated in the hub of fig Afghanistan. However, fewer goods are available for white and soft figs because of China’s good buying. Due to weak supply against the demand, prices of dried fig raised by $1.35 per kg.
As per traders, covid-19 cases are now declining, and the festive season is also coming; thus, the demand will increase for nuts, and due to sluggish supply against the good demand, the prices of dried fig is expected to rise by $1.35 per kg more.
The dried fig prices are currently quoting between $5.40 – $21.58 per kg in the wholesale market.
