BEIJING: According to the data released by the National Bureau of Statistics, in 2022, the soybean sown area and total output in Heilongjiang province reached a record high, both ranking first in China. The sown area of soybeans was 73.975 million mu, accounting for 48.1% of the national total, exceeding the national target of 6.659 million mu, an increase of 15.659 million mu or 26.9% over the previous year, accounting for 57.1% of the national increase. Soybean output reached 95 billion kg, accounting for 47% of the national total, an increase of 2.35 billion kg, or 32.6%, accounting for 60.3% of the national increase.
