In March, Malaysia sent to foreign markets a little more than 1.43 million tons of palm oil, according to Intertek Testing Services. Compared with the previous month, exports increased by 24% – from 1.16 million tons.
At the same time, according to experts, the bulk of shipments of Malaysia fell on palm olein (RBD palm olein), crude palm oil (crude palm oil, CPO) and stearin (palm stearin) – 470.1 thousand tons (263.5 thousand tons – in February), 290.9 thousand tons (285.9 thousand tons) and 121.9 thousand tons (80 thousand tons), respectively.
Smaller sales volumes were recorded for refined palm oil (67 thousand tons), crude palm kernel oil (15.7 thousand tons) and other products.
It is noted that in March, the most active demand for Malaysian products was shown in India, China, and the EU countries.
