As of April 6, the soybean harvesting campaign in Brazil has already taken place on an area of 82% of the planned (+ 6% for the week). This was reported on Monday by specialists of the consulting company AgRural. According to experts, as of the same date last year, fieldwork was completed by 84%.
The reports also emphasize that the sowing of corn of the second crop in the country is completed, and the grain crops are developing well.
This year, industry experts expect that Brazil will be able to harvest a record soybean crop of more than 150 million tons. This will allow the country to increase the supply of both raw materials and finished products (oil and meal) for the world market.
