Ukraine and Poland agreed on the transit of Ukrainian grain through the territory of the neighboring country, stated Yulia Svyridenko, the First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Economy on April 8 following the negotiations held in Warsaw, the press service of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine reported.
“We treat the problems of our Polish colleagues with the same attention as Poland treats our problems. Therefore, we have to respond promptly and constructively to this crisis situation. According to the results of the negotiations, it was decided that the transit of Ukrainian agricultural goods through the territory of Poland will be unblocked on the night from Thursday, April 20 to Friday, April 21, 2023,” Yu. Svyridenko said.
She also added that the government of Ukraine is currently “waiting for official communication from the Polish side regarding the technical aspects of transportation of Ukrainian products through the territory of Poland.”
