As of June 26, 1.5 mln tonnes of new crop grain were harvested in Russia, which is 1.7 times higher year-on-year (875 thsd tonnes), reports Interfax with reference to data from the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia.
Grains and pulses have already been harvested from 352.4 thsd ha, including wheat – from 18.7 thsd ha with 83.4 thsd tonnes with a yield of 44.5 t/ha. In addition, there were 845.8 thsd tonnes of barley collected.
As reported, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation forecasts grain production this year at the level of 123 mln tonnes, including 78 mln tonnes of wheat.
