Global coffee exports from member and non-member countries of the International Coffee Organisation (ICO) totalled 10.30 million 60-kilo bags in August, the eleventh month of the 2022/23 world harvest, compared to 10.09 million bags recorded in the same month of 2022, an increase of 2.08%.
On the other hand, exports in the first eleven months of the season (between October and August) fell by 5.1% to 114.01 million bags, compared to 120.12 million in the same period of 2021/22.
According to the ICO, arabica coffee exports totalled 74.35 million bags between September 2022 and August 2023, compared to 81.56 million in 2021/22. Robusta shipments totalled 49.60 million bags, compared to 48.96 million.
