Spread the news!

EU is currently considering the possibility of using supplies of grain and fertilizers from Ukraine as part of the expansion of the agreement on migration and economic support to Egypt due to the escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, reports the Financial Times with reference to its own sources.

Two EU officials told the publication that the agreement will include provisions on food imports to Egypt, but did not provide other details.

However, according to the head of the European Council, Charles Michel, the EU is considering the possibility of using the corridors created for the export of grain from Ukraine to deliver agricultural products to Egypt and has already worked with Kyiv to do something “extremely useful for Egypt”.
