The Temporary Corridor from Ukraine is working: the number of vessels is already counted in dozens and will increase further.
Dmytro Pletenchuk, the spokesman of the Naval Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, announced that they are making maximum efforts to ensure the security of this temporary corridor.
Here is the question of the first trial bullet. That is, the bravest went regardless of the fact that there were quite high insurance rates. It was about 5% of the value of the cargo. There were brave people who went first. And now it is more than 70 vessels to arrive and about 60 to exit. Accordingly, insurance rates began to fall significantly. And, in addition, this channel has already turned into not only an export channel but also an export-import one, which is also important.
Of course, the Russians don’t like it. Of course, it’s in the back of their throats, the fact that they are out of this deal. And this is exactly what they used to play on, that geopolitical tool that was very convenient for them at sea. Therefore, Ukraine will continue to do everything possible to expand the corridor.
