Polish hauliers can block two more checkpoints on the border with Ukraine – “Ustylug-Zosyn” and “Nyzhankovychi-Malhovice”. This was stated by Volodymyr Balin, vice president of the Association of International Road Carriers, Delo.ua reports.
“We have received unofficial information so far that the strikers want to spread their strike and blockade of trucks at the Ustylug-Zosyn and Nizhankovichi-Malhovice railway stations. This is a little strange information for us, because only empty vehicles move there. At the same time, in Ustylug-Zosin – only in the direction from Ukraine to Poland. Why do this is not entirely clear? Perhaps to increase the pressure on the Polish authorities,” said V. Balin.
He also added that from November 27, the Sheghini-Medyka checkpoint will be blocked 24 hours a day, although earlier strikers restricted movement to the checkpoint only during the day.
It should be noted that Polish hauliers are currently blocking four checkpoints on the border with Ukraine – “Sheghini-Medyka”, “Krakivets-Korchova”, “Rava-Ruska-Khrebenne” and “Yagodin-Dorogusk“.
