The total gross harvest of grains and oilseeds in Ukraine reached 75.763 million tons.
As of November 27, Ukrainian agrarians harvested 55.053 million tons of grains and leguminous crops. The total harvested area under grains is 10.237 million hectares (94% of the forecast). This was reported by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine with reference to operational information on the progress of the harvesting campaign. Harvesting continues on the specified date.
In terms of crops, that are still in the process of harvesting:
Corn – 3.33 million hectares (82% of the forecast), yield – 7.48 t/ha, 24.88 million tons
Buckwheat – 139.7 thousand hectares (99% of the forecast), yield – 1.48 t/ha, 207.4 thousand tons
Millet – 79.5 thousand hectares (95% of the forecast), yield – 2.26 t/ha, 180 thousand tons
Also, harvesting indicators for oilseeds:
Sunflower – 5 million hectares (99% of the forecast), yield – 2.38 t/ha, 11.93 million tons
Soybeans – 1.8 million hectares (99%), yield 2.65 t/ha, 4.77 million tons
Grain exports in 2023/24 reached 12 million tons
According to the State Customs Service, as of November 27, in season 2023/24, Ukraine has exported 12.003 million tons of grains. Meanwhile, as of November 27 last year, the total shipments amounted to 16.632 million tons.
Since the beginning of the current season, Ukraine exported
wheat – 5.484 million tons (in 2022/23 – 6.456 million tons)
barley – 860 thousand tons (1.34 million tons)
corn – 5.559 million tons (8.766 million tons)
