The Movement of Trucks on Ukrainian Border With Poland and Hungary Is Expected to Be Restricted.

According to preliminary information, a strike by Polish farmers will begin on February 9 at 10:00 a.m. The strike will take place in the areas bordering the Ukrainian checkpoints “Yagodin”, “Rava-Ruska” and “Sheghini”. This was reported by the State Border Service.

Protesters are determined to allow one truck per hour at the Yagodin and Sheghina checkpoints. At the same time  in the direction of the Rava-Ruska checkpoint they will allowtwo trucks per hour. Humanitarian cargo and buses will pass unhindered.

It is possible that traffic for trucks through the Ustylug and Ugryn checkpoints will be also limited from February 12. Three trucks per hour will be allowed through there.

Hungarian border guards are also warning about farmers’ protests on February 9 on the highway to “Zakhon” checkpoint, which is opposite the Ukrainian “Chop (Tysa)”. In advance, the participants of the action will not block the passage of passenger cars.
