Protesting Polish farmers scattered grain from Ukrainian trucks onto the road.
The incident occurred on February 11 near the border with Ukraine in Doroguska. There, protesting farmers stopped three Ukrainian trucks and dumped grain on the road.
After registration, three trucks driven by Ukrainian citizens entered Poland. The protesters did not allow the transport to continue, and at one point opened the trailers, causing grain spilling onto the road. The drivers turned back towards Ukraine.
Currently,Polish police are clarifying the details of the incident and seizing evidence at the scene.
Five checkpoints are blocked on the Polish-Ukrainian border.
Polish farmers began protests at 5 checkpoints on February 12, according to the State Border Service of Ukraine. The checkpoints “Medika-Shegini”, “Zosin-Ustilug”, “Dolgobychev-Ugrinov”, “Dorogusk-Yagodin” and “Grebnoye-Rava-Russkaya”cannot work in standard mode.
Passenger cars, buses, and vehicles carrying humanitarian aid in both directions will be processed as usual. The protesters intend to allow 2 trucks per hour in both directions.
