Against the background of increased mobilization, Ukraine ran into a problem of a significant shortage of labor force. Companies and enterprises have to raise staff salaries, but this does not solve the problem.
The outflow of personnel led to a decrease in the productivity of factories, mines, construction sites, and public catering establishments. One of the main problems of enterprises has become the lack of employees, whose search is difficult.
The Ukrainian government had to implement the law on strengthening mobilization on May 18 to replenish the army. Hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians are to join the Armed Forces. However, the shortage of able-bodied men and women is becoming an acute problem for small and large enterprises, which are the basis of the wartime economy.
International experts emphasized that Ukraine is participating in a war of attrition. The economy is gradually weakening, and the longer the hostilities continue, the more this will be felt. Ukraine has already lost a quarter of its production since the invasion began.
In addition to the mobilization, there are around 6 million Ukrainians who escaped from the war and moved to the neighboring countries. The situation is very critical for the Ukrainian agro-industrial complex. Even before the full-scale invasion, this field of activity was not sufficiently automated. And now, during regular power outages and other problems, most of the work is done manually. there is a catastrophic shortage of workers.
