TIANJIN – According to feedback from Gansu and Tianjin exporters, China’s 2021 production of lentils as of this week is nearing completion. Most producers and exporters no longer have stocks of domestically produced lentils from crop 2020.
Only a few manufacturers have a small amount of inventory and prices are relatively stable. The export price is FOB TIANJIN USD 1.260 per ton. Compared with the previous two weeks, it has dropped by USD 30.
The new crop lentils are expected to arrive on the market at the end of August in 2021. Some manufacturers have already begun preparations for the purchase of new crop raw materials. The inventory clearance of old crop lentils is nearing completion.
