Yunnan: According to the feedback from exporters of the origin, the white kidney beans have not changed this week from last week, and the market needs to wait for new products to come on the market. Currently, raw materials in Yunnan are in short supply.
The main specifications of large white kidney beans are 40 and 45 grains. The price of 45 grains for domestic trade is US$1,620/ton, and the price of 40 grains is US$1,660/ton. In August, merchants focused on clearing inventory, and prices were temporarily stable. Judging from the export standard quotation, the export prices of 45 and 40 grains are US$1,680/ton and US$1720/ton, respectively.
The output in 2021 is still unpredictable, so farmers are unwilling to sell surplus grain at a price cut. They would rather wait until autumn to export again. Exporters expect that the next export price will remain stable, with only sporadic sales orders for export orders.
