DALIAN – Exporter’s feedback shows this week’s adzuki beans market moving slowly. Some exporters reflect that the daily cargo volume is less than in June. The replenishment mentality is more cautious.
Producers in growing areas signed fewer new orders than before the Dragon Boat Festival. According to Zhuochuang Information, most grain merchants are still unwilling to sell at a low price. A few grain merchants intend to clear their stock in July and intended to sell at a lower price recently.
South Korea has not issued a new adzuki beans tender yet. Next week manufacturers in the sales region may continue replenishing goods according to demand, but the demand growth is insufficient. Considering that some grain merchants in producing areas are still waiting for price rises, it is expected that the price will not fall. So we need to pay further attention to the shipment situation of pressure merchants in producing areas next week. The price of adzuki beans is the same as last week at FOB Dalian, USD 2.450/mt.
