USA: So far in 2021/22, total U.S. soybean sales to China (shipped and unloaded) are 27.29 million tons, down 23.7% year-on-year. U.S. soybean sales to China in 2022/23 were 5.233 million tons, up 797,000 tons from a week earlier. In March 2022 supply and demand report, the U.S. Department of Agriculture estimated that China’s soybean imports in 2021/22 are expected to be 94 million tons, down from 9,700 tons forecast in February and 5.77% lower than the previous year’s 99.76 million tons.
